My Nogales experience is that literally every Mexican place we ate was delicious, from sit-down and fancy to stand up outside a little taco hut. I recall that there were several meals featuring poblano peppers in a sort of Sonoran or New Mexican style which were particularly toothsome.
I don't remember the specific restaurants, just the overall impression that we were spoiled for choice with Mexican food options.
The lodging choices, however, didn't come in for such high esteem, nor did the border crossing festivities.
