Not really. UA configures the Q400 with 71 seats in a 2 class config (with E+). AS has 78 seats in a single class config.
The AA CR7 has 65-67 seats and the E175 has 76-80 seats
AA can further reduce # of seats by offering an F cabin (1x2 configuration) the way UA does on some Q400s already.
