Hi, perhaps I may offer a few suggestions:

1. If you really want to book all on Oneworld/BA/AA also look at Dallas and Phoenix. They fly nonstop to Fresno from those hubs (and I believe LAX as well). From SFO you would have to buy a separate ticket on United.

2. If you're going straight to Yosemite from SFO, maybe just drive there from the airport. From either SFO or SJC it's about 4-6 hours, depending on which flight you're on. SJC would be better but traffic would suck for about the first 2 hours out of the Bay Area. Still, with connecting times and all, it might be quicker than flying to FAT (I do like that name though) and then driving another 1-2 hours to Yosemite.

3. Whenever you end up going, book your rooms in Yosemite now! I haven't checked but I know the Awhanee (I refuse to call it the Majestic Yosemite Lodge) often sells out months to a year in advance. If you're camping you shouldn't have much trouble finding a place.

4. Can't help with San Diego other than to say I've really enjoyed my few times there.

5. Lastly, if you can get WTP try and get it on the 380 over the 747, it's WAY better on the 380 (I've done both from SFO in the last year).

Good luck, and if you do end up having to stay in Califronia forever, it's really not that bad.
