Gulf air CoC cancellation section clause 2 is identical to 10.2.2 https://www.gulfair.com/node/79

CX has the same obligations under either CoC

P.S. jalpak in previous discussions of this re-route clause asserted the reroute is subject to agreement by CX - this they are entitled to refuse any reroute on QR and offer OP refund option only. On a literal reading of 10.2.2.2 in both English (above) and Chinese http://www.cathaypacific.com/content...baggage-zh.pdf I disagree, but I haven't found an example where someone successfully forced CX/GF/another carrier with this CoC into a reroute against the carrier's will.
