Anyone have any follow up to offer? I have three separate awards booked with AA, DL, and UA to travel this summer from NYC to HKG to BKK to BNE to LAX then back to NYC in business class. Literally the next week after booking those awards my wife did not pass a pregnancy test :P. When she went in to her first OBG appt today and they told her that the trip would be in her third trimester so she can't go (high risk also). I paid the taxes / fees on all 3 awards with my Chase Ink Plus card. I'm hoping that Chase might reimburse me using the travel insurance coverage. As I understand it preexisting conditions are ruled out but we didn't know about this until after the trip. It also sounds like there is no language excluding pregnancy for coverage other than the preexisting condition part. Also, I see that Chase requires notification within 48 hours of knowing a cancellation will be needed. Any advice on what my approach should be with them to be to better my odds for reimbursement of the miles reinstatement fees?
