Everything about trains in Portugal

Trains:

Long Distance
Inter-regional and Urban/Suburban
International trains
Douro Line Historic Train (runs June-Oct, normal trains also run on this line)
National Railway Museum at Entroncamento Station

Buying a long-distance ticket
Buying a suburban ticket in Lisbon

Checking the Timetable
To check the timetable, open CP's website.

1. Enter your origin and destination.
a. In Lisbon, there are multiple stations. Search from "Lisboa-Oriente" to see all possibilities.
Some trains will also stop in Lisboa-Entrecampos, and others will stop at Lisboa-Santa Apolonia, but all stop in Lisboa-Oriente

b. In Porto, you want Porto-Campanhã to see all trains.

2. You will get a list of all trains between these stations. If you click on a train, you can see intermediate stops.
3. If it's a long-distance/regional train, you can select it to buy a ticket. If it's a suburban train, it will show you the price for the trip for a single ticket.
