United gave up its T6 gates, which limits how many flights it could add to LAX, even if there was a will to grow again.

Perhaps the schedule cutbacks should continue until they reach the point that remaining flights won't have to wait 45 minutes upon landing for a gate to open up, as is routinely reported in this forum?
