I value an HHonors point at 0.5 cents, so 30K = $150. I might still use points for the $120 (pre-tax?) hotel depending on promos, points balance, etc. If you can find Points & Money availability that's even better though...
Stonetown is disappointing IMO, but much closer to the airport. I would either stay two nights at Nungwi and skip Stone Town or stay in ST both nights and do a day trip to one of the nearby islands or beaches.
