Does anyone else here travel between New York and LA often? What is the best airline deal in terms or cost and quality for flying this route? In the past I have flown from EWR or JFK to LAX on American Airlines. I have found that it is cheaper to fly from JFK to LGB for this route using either AA or JetBlue so I have tickets for this route booked on both airlines for my upcoming flights. Are there any better deals available using other airlines. I prefer direct flights only. I have also flow on Continental between EWR and LAX. I don't recommend using Continental for that route. There are too many screaming babies and noisy leisure travelers on CO flights. Also CO planes for that route are small and cramp for tall people like myself. Thanks for all replies.
