No arse

I'm a guy with no arse.... (sigh)

In my twenties I didn't understand why people groaned so much about coach. I was happy to fly JFK - BKK just to spend 48hrs on the beach and fly back. No big deal, to me coach was excellent - movies, time to read, fed and watered. Sweet!

Then I turned 40.

I fly premium when my pocket allows, but alas I'd rather spend that money on nicer hotel rooms, or adding in a new destination. I just drop a Xanax, squish in my earplugs, cover my face with a sleep mask and hope for the best.

HOWEVER - my 'no arse' has caught up with me. After about 2hr I start changing positions, left, right, lean against the seat, lean against window, etc. Nothing helps - my butt and lower back are in agony. I've tried:

- sitting on one airplane pilow
- sitting on two airplane pillows
- sitting on one of those U shaped bean-bag neck things

Nothing helps, my tailbone and lower back are just on fire. A 8hr+ flight is simply intolerable (like literally almost crying).

I could get up and walk around, but long ago I've become a 'window-seat' person because I have room to rest my head and pillow on wall, I rarely need to visit the bathroom on long flights, and I don't have to get up for anyone.

Getting ready to hit 10 cities in a month and am desperate to find something small I can take with me to make this trip bearable.

You people with large arses don't understand how lucky you are - you're basically carrying around a comfortable couch while I'm stuck with a wooden students chair..

Help!
