Marco Polo won't help on a Gulf Air issued ticket using CX miles.
I have an issued ticket in business class flying Gulf Air from Bangkok to Iran in 2 weeks. Gulf Air has stopped to fly to Iran few weeks ago. Marco Polo never advised me of this, so I call them 2 weeks ago. It has now been few hours on the phone, a stop by the Bangkok office, and nothing! I call Gulf Air who told me it's a Cathay ticket number, I need to speak to Cathay.
Marco Polo has not provided me with any alternative flights, thought they do exist on Qatar. They ask me to cancel my ticket, but I need to do this trip.
They simply don't care, even if I'm a gold member, they cannot even reply to me by email, and I've been on the phone hours with them.
Anybody can help? The ticket is issued, so there should be a way! Marco Polo is just insulting...asking us to fly more with them to keep our level...and being the worst service frequent flyer program I ever encountered!
