Yeah, I had to visit Austin's event site to see if there was some sort of festival (or the like) going on that would cause an aircraft change, but couldn't find any single event. SXSW is in March and ACL is in October; didn't see any large marathons or anything of the sort.

Regardless, it would be nice if United decided to make this AUS-LAX route mainline service permanently. I'd also like to see them do a AUS-SAN run on United Express. This would be extremely popular among flyers like myself that only fly Southwest because they are the only game in town that offers this route NS.
