Depending on the how subtle the acknowledgement from the manager was, it may be worthwhile just cancelling that reservation and booking a different hotel? Or if you have to stay at the same hotel, is there anyone else staying there that can add you to their booking as an additional room? (I don't know if Dubai hotels take the name of all guests staying)
