These opinions are great, but I have a further question.

I will be coming off a 7 day trek to Kili the day before and flying JRO>ZNZ.

Both the Nungwi DT and the Stonetown DT are 30k HH a night. Stonetown is $120 and Nungwi is $160. I plan to use points unless others think that is a bad value.

My father, brother and I have 2 nights in ZNZ and want to relax on the beach but also see the Stonetown.

What property is best? Too hectic to book 1 night each?

Does the hotel still offer airport transportation? Day trip to Stonetown from Nungwi?
