Which is a lovely reminder to anyone who gets frustrated when they're waiting for someone "to switch on the guidance system so we can park": that person's role is to do rather more than just switch on the system, and if the job isn't done correctly, the next time it could be you being delayed because you're supposed to be on the aircraft's next flight.
