Just back from four nights at the Ren. As to "best", cannot say. It is personal preference. Here's my take on the Ren though. Great location from the train station with carryon / roller suitcases. Convenient to a tram stop. Walkable to the historic parts of town, even in the cold and rain. The club is so-so, but not far from what I expected. No booze. Wine and beer, some decent snacks. In the morning there are four hots: runny eggs, ham, sausage, something else I didn't eat. Breads cereals yogurts and juices. The club is closed on Sat and Sun, so you get the full buffet in the restaurant in the basement. That is very good, with cooked to order eggs. The bar in the basement is nice for a drink at the end of the day. As for rooms, they are like 80% or so of the Marriotts around the world. We did go by the Marriott and for us, the location of the Ren was better. We weren't in the neighborhood of the Marriott except to visit the museums. The rest of our time was spent walking around and exploring. Thanks for all of the help here folks.
