I would fight them on this. This is made-up AC BS that is not specified anywhere on the website, which simply says "within 24 hours of purchase". There is absolutely no logic behind what they are saying, 24 hours is 24 hours. If the clock ends based on YOW time, it should have also started on YOW time. Otherwise, what's to stop them telling you you can't cancel a ticket to SYD 3 hours after you bought it in Hawaii because it's already 24 hours later in SYD?

What a crock. Where's Lukacs when you need him?
