To help you avoid some confusion when you are referring to your "home" program (AA) people call the statuses as
Gold
Platinum
Executive Platinum
When you are flying on a Oneworld Partner then
Gold --> Ruby
Platinum --> Sapphire
Exec Plat --> Emerald
So just a friendly suggestion ... use the terms Gold, Platinum and Exec Plat in this forum unless you are talking about benefits on a partner carrier (such as British Airways or Cathay Pacific).
