Maybe another option is to use the free stroller rental provided by Frankfurt airport.

We have used this as a departing passenger, and it makes life much easier.

Arriving passengers can also borrow strollers at information counter 10 in Transit Hall B. They may be returned at the baggage claim, any gate, or an information counter.
