Like vxc, I'm also new here. I've recently moved to London and am starting from scratch with BA (after enjoying years of CX silver). I've never done mileage/tier point runs because I've always had reason to travel with work so I've never really had to "work" for my status.
I've read the guide at the top of the thread but may have somewhat of a silly question. Since most of those journey's do not originate from London, what do Londoners do to get to those places...wouldn't those trips come with costs too?
Also, I didn't understand the point of how to book these stopovers that vxc and typical mentioned. How do you get BA to show you the connections?
