It was an a/c change. Flying SXM-JFK this week. Was CIP 767 when I booked, but changed to 16J 757, booting OP (and others) from J to Y. AA swapped to 24J 757, not wanting to pay 8 pax $160 for being "placed in their ticketed class of service." At a higher price.
