thanks United, good to know. I didn't see a U.S. phone number on the OS site, so I used their contact us link.
I usually call once I get the Locator from UA. Heading over to Munich using UA miles I was surprized when the Lufthansa locator popped right up on the UAL booking. That was so nice. Popped over to the LH site and selected the seats. Awesome. That was the first time I saw it actually come up without having to call.

E-mail their Australia ticketing office for the PNR. Then you can select your own seats on the web.
