Hi all

Looking to book GCM – MAN around 20 May 2016 and returning 1 June (dates are reasonably flexible).

I’d like to fly in business class if possible, I’m not that bothered about business on the outbound but the return flight is a must if it’s in the daytime. I usually do this route via GCM – LHR (BA) then connect to MAN, but it’s very expensive and there is very little upgrade availability (none in May/June).

I’ve been looking for other options, including flying through the US, going via DUB etc (have used the ITA matrix), but I can’t seem to find anything less than US$3k. Maybe that’s as low as it gets but I’d be grateful if anyone has any other ideas I can try? I will try any route/airline within reason.

I’m BA Gold and have around 80k avios balance at present.
