Germanfflyer, I see that you
posted the exact same thing in TravelBuzz.
Rather than posting a complaint on the board, consider dropping one of the moderators an email. Speaking for myself, I'd be happy to help track down your thread. What was it about? When did you post it? And was it in MilesBuzz, TravelBuzz, or both?
I honestly don't recall the thread in question. It's even possible that it wasn't moved by a moderator but even otherwise corrupted. I just don't know without a bit more info. But my point is that I'm sure a quick email can clear things up. If you're interested, drop me a line.
Then, if you'd still like to comment on moderating, there are a few venues for doing so without distracting the board discussion from miles and points.
You can:
- Email the moderators. We all publish our e-mail addresses, and the list of the four of us is on the top of the thread listing.
- Post your complaint in Randy's forum. He chartered the moderators and we continue to be answerable to him. If we are being unreasonable, he can intercede on your behalf. It's his board and he wants to see it run as well as possible, with as much value to members as possible -- so if you have a valid complaint about how moderators are taking away value rather than adding value, he will no doubt be receptive.
- You can also email Randy directly. He publishes his email address in his profile.
But let's not detract from real conversations about the latest frequent flyer program buzz by making moderators the issue of the forum.
Thanks for listening, and I hope you understand why I'm closing this thread here.
Regards,
Gary
