Talking about the regional J seat....

After flying so many PEY and Regional J, I finally figure out what's the critical flaw of the regional J v.s. PEY seat (p.s. My own conclusion, YMMV): legroom

bulkhead v. bulkhead
Regional J lacks the footrest on the legrest. This sort of makes me uncomfortable about how my legs should be put

Other rows:
While PEY lacks legrest altogether, the footrest gives me an indication of where my foot (and thus my legs) should be put. In Regional J, same issue as in bulkhead.

But worse. Since the vertical legroom is limited by the seat in front (the always loosen cover of the front seat) if my legs are raised by the legrest, actually my legs have very little room to move around unless I bend my legs and put it entirely on the legrest... If the seat next to me is empty then it should be fine... But CX always "filled" my neighbor seat rather than "blocking" it.....

With new PEY coming and claiming that every seat has a legrest, regional J will to a certain extent be further inferior...
