Along those same lines, I have an 8 hour layover.

Arriving NRT-HNL at 9:20 am and departing for MSP at 5:30 pm.

Clearly, we're going to want to leave the airport. My questions then are:

1) How long would it take to clear customs?
2) How easy is it to get into the city and what are the best options for doing so?
3)How long does it take for getting from the airport to the city?
4) What do you recommend doing?
5) Any places you recommend for lunch?
