I was hoping the 30 day advance would be £10.75 I read up-thread. I still paid £14.30 as I got to add to my Heathrow Rewards account. I also liked how I could pay in USD and thus avoid int'l surcharges. I wasn't sure if I could do that on Heathrow Connect. Moreover, I couldn't see how to buy a one-way open ticket on Heathrow Connect. It looked like I had to select a specific train thus it was worth spending £14.30.
My flight from LHR is on a Sunday in the middle of April and hopefully I'll find out within 30 days if Heathrow Express adds extra early morning trains as they have done in January. I'd rather do that than take Uber to T2.
FYI all Heathrow Connect tickets are valid for any train in the chosen day and are the same price bought on the day as online.
