I also liked how I could pay in USD and thus avoid int'l surcharges. I wasn't sure if I could do that on Heathrow Connect. Moreover, I couldn't see how to buy a one-way open ticket on Heathrow Connect. It looked like I had to select a specific train thus it was worth spending £14.30.

My flight from LHR is on a Sunday in the middle of April and hopefully I'll find out within 30 days if Heathrow Express adds extra early morning trains as they have done in January. I'd rather do that than take Uber to T2.
