I think you need Economy Q class or better (YBHM) to access the seating forward economy cabin without status. I personally cant confirm whether *G status provides access or not in the event a V/W Economy fare is booked, but note BinSabai's comment.

The ExpertFlyer 'P' doesn't refer to premium economy (that is a separate tab), rather just that the airline has some form of discrimination in granting passengers access -usually fare class and status.
