8-9 different hotels/lodges in total. So a lot of packing/unpacking.
We are not carrying the bag on the trek, but will be transported via mule. We can not have roller board, and must limit total weight it to under 25lbs.
So the bag must be sturdy, hold up to elements (assumingly), have various compartments (to me, the more compartments, pockets the better) so we can find stuff easily instead of fully unpacking each night.
While I am a classic overpacking, this trip we are limiting it but also must
Must also support a Surface Pro 3 and tablet safely, securely during the trek.
pack various layering clothes for the trek and a few lodges have laundry services.
If not the Air Boss, any other suggestions based on my comments?
Anyone every do a similar trek? Any packing suggestions?
thank you
The RedOxx Skytrain is also pretty durable. I would get something with backpack straps, because I personally find that easier to carry.
Bundle packing really does reduce the volume. I bundle pack everything. I use packing cubes, too, for those things that I don't bundle pack. Get a padded case for your Surface, such as the Tom Bihn caches. They're very sturdily built.
