Firm Chosen to Help Plan WTC Site

An urban design team has been chosen to assist the two agencies charged with redeveloping the World Trade Center site.

The architectural firm Beyer Blinder Belle was chosen by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and the Lower Manhattan Development Corp. to help develop a plan, the agencies announced Wednesday. Fifteen firms submitted bids.
