Will easyBus ticket holders be denied boarding in the case where the coach is overbooked and NEx will have to give priority to their ticket holders?
I have purchased the NE tickets via the Easybus website a couple of times. It's a great way to save money.
I had the exact same concerns you did before my first journey but you needn't worry. The NE drivers are familiar with the Easybus tickets.
You are safe going through Easybus - it has the NE details on the ticket so you are entitled to a seat on your booked NE coach. The great advantage of these tickets is that you can travel on earlier or later services one hour either side of the time on your ticket (but as they aren't your booked coach, the driver may decline if he has a busy service). It states all this info on the ticket.
The buses are frequent so you might get lucky with an earlier service.
In my experience the coaches are never full.
Only downside is the journey time which is 80-90 minutes.
I have never done the Bath->VIC link so I can't comment on its punctuality.
