Coming home to the UK from USA:

Aunt Jemima's pancake mix
Ditto, big bottle of her pancake syrup
Boxer briefs underwear
Bags of cinnamon rolls
Computer text books
Gasoline for my car (no, that's just wishful thinking because of the price!)

Going out from UK to USA:

Christmas crackers (if it's Christmas)
Paracetamol (for a friend who can't take Tylenol)
Boxes of chocolates

Home to UK from Australia:

Vegemite (amazing how many others mention this above)
That proprietary canned whisky-and-coke (I forget the brand)

Home to the UK from France:

Half my wardrobe at least
Bottles of liqueurs

Home to the UK from Hong Kong:

The other half of my wardrobe
