Useful stuff:

USA: lots of chocolate chips, baking powder, vanilla, oats, cornmeal... as some importation is necessary to create satisfactory baked goods in Vietnam. I do wonder how the chocolate chips might look on a baggage x-ray, or what the baking powder might appear to be. [Edited to add: pancake syrup and strawberry jam]

Vietnam: clothes -- shirts, ties, tailored stuff, silk, etc... nice stuff costs next to nothing compared to the US.

Korea: metal chopsticks + spoons.

South Africa: rooibos tea.
