Once I had a routing that was very 3rd World:

ATL/DFW/GRU/CWB/XAP on AA/RG/JJ

AA tagged the bag from ATL through to XAP. I had to get the bag out of Customs at GRU and give it to RG for domestic routings. Some "ignoramus" at RG made it his duty to not have an AA tag in his airplanes and just ripped it out.

Guess who had to buy new clothes because the bag was left tagless at an RG lost and found in GRU for a week?

AHH, THE JOYS OF TRAVELLING IN INDIAN LAND!
