1. Yes you can, but as this is FT you shouldn't have any baggage anyway :-)
2. Arrivals in AMS are airside, so you only have to make it to bag drop. That said, AMS is huge so you could literally walk a mile. I can't find the minimum time but as stated above, your baggage should be interlined anyway. However, I'd be more concerned about creeping flight delays.
I am flying ex-AMS on QR next month; I've actually got about 4 hours because that was the best cost and time combination, but I would allow a 2 hours at an absolute minimum in case the plane is delayed by up to an hour.
Just have my e-ticket in hand will be alright? I manage to get myself a 4 hr transit time in AMS now thanks
