I have an upcoming trip from CUZ (Cuzco, Peru) to LIM (on LAN Peru) and then from LIM to ATL (on Delta). These are on separate reservations with about 12 hours layover in LIM.

Since LAN Peru and Delta have interline agreement, will I be able to check it all the way to ATL from CUZ? Or, since there's a long layover, I'll need to take it out and recheck luggage a few hours before my LIM-ATL flight?
