Curious how much the LM charges for that airport transfer. I find most of the big hotels offer this service at hugely inflated prices. I think the Crowne Plaza quoted me some ridiculous number that was ~US$80-100 one way. There are lots of car services including the AOT "official" cars that are still way more than a taxi but are more around the 1000 baht level.
I've wondered about those round bed rooms. Looks like they are pretty much exactly the same as the regular rooms, but just with a less practical round bed. I don't know how they can charge so much more for them.
This is the fee quote I received from LM:
Mercedes Benz E Class (maximum 3 persons) the cost is THB 2,350.- net per car per way
Mercedes Benz S Class (maximum 3 persons) the cost is THB 2,900.- net per car per way
Toyota Van Commuter (maximum 7 persons) the cost is THB 2,500.- net per van per way
I know it's much higher than a taxi, or even the AOT cars, however I found it very convenient not having to look into other options.
When I booked there was a promotion on the round bed rooms and the price difference with a normal room was minimal, so that I could easily justify the price with the amount of drinks I had during the creative hour.
