I flew G-CIVF back from JFk the other day. The cabin around 64K was noticeably cleaner and in better nick than 64K on G-BNLJ. Sadly though, the IFE in my seat was unresponsive apart from the safety demo. As it was a late sleeper service flight, I wasn't going to use it anyway, and didn't tell the crew. Maybe a reset would've worked? Also it seems like none of the screens came all the way out to 90o to the divider, and wouldn't "click" into place. The cabin crew lady I pointed this out to tried to move it, then noted that none of them seemed to go all the way.
Whilst the seat number is correct, the flight number wasn't. It stayed at 0h00 the whole flight ....
I too was on that flight (in 1A). The IFE didn't work until about 20 mins after takeoff. It's a great improvement and is far superior to the much lauded (on this forum) QR IFE. I look forward to seeing this rolled out across the airline.
