Whenever I've taken that flight, it always parks at the far end of the piers at Terminal E, as far from immigration as possible, which negates any advantage of which door is used. It's more about how quick you walk. There is no fast pass for immigration at Houston that I've ever been offered, and unlikely to be premier access in transit security either at that time of morning.

Honestly, 90 minutes is pushing your luck.
