Isn't that what he's there for.... or is his primary job chatting up guests in the lounge before NYE and trying to convince them that joining one of their events is a great idea?

And he did respond at first, but then seemed to lose all interest.... I can even understand he has better things to do sometimes, but don't make promises you don't keep.

It was a good reminder that everyone smiles at you but in the end you're just revenue. Not a big surprise, but good to be reminded of once in a while and adapt your own behaviour. Next time something happens I'll be a lot louder....
