As a low value DM, I understand the frustration for those who actually want to purchase a F ticket when there are few available seats (or none) because of upgrade windows, but I certainly do love having the piece of mind that my upgrade has cleared when I head to the airport. I don't have to spend lots of time watching my name drop farther and farther away from #1 with the number of seats slowly dwindling on the app.

I also share the same sentiment that it is *really* annoying that an IRROPed coach medallion rebooked in a Y fare (because the agent didn't maintain their fare class) automatically would trump me on the list close to departure simply because his/her original flight had a problem.
