Not A Big Deal

I came into ATL on a red-eye recently, arriving quite a bit earlier than scheduled. I went to the gate for the earlier flight to FLL to see if I could standby for it. Plenty of availability, but I'd have to pay a change fee. FO's don't get it waived. So I'm now at my gate for my ticketed flight to FLL. the earlier flights has left and they are now asking for people willing to be bumped as the flight is oversold!! What a way to run an airline!

Lumping MM into the FO bucket sucks! I know there are probably a bunch of MMs, but are their really that many that we couldn't at least get the perks of GM? Another option would be if as MM your MQMs started at 25K each year, so if you get another 25K you would be GM.
3.

Not a big deal at all. Means you have flown quite a bit. I have flown 3.2 MMs on DL and what works for me is being a PM or DM, not the overall number of miles on metal.

Never miss an opportunity to make others happy, even if you have to leave them alone in order to do it. ~Author Unknown
