I just expect that when someone, the hotel manager in this case, tells me that they will reach out to me me on a given day that they do....and not keep silent for 2 days after that promise is made and I have left the property.

The interviews were never intended to provide any results anyway, who is stupid enough to confess. So it was always about the communication and the hotel knowing one of those that accessed my room is a thief, could be helpfull for next time someone complains.
I did read it. Just because the hotel manager of a 380 rooms property doesn't respond to you personally in 48 hours or less doesn't mean the situation was handled all that bad.
