I just expect that when someone, the hotel manager in this case, tells me that they will reach out to me me on a given day that they do....and not keep silent for 2 days after that promise is made and I have left the property.

The interviews were never intended to provide any results anyway, who is stupid enough to confess. So it was always about the communication and the hotel knowing one of those that accessed my room is a thief, could be helpfull for next time someone complains.
