If I recall correctly, ET reservations made from sources other than ET's own website don't show up online until Online Check-In opens. It's been a while since I've booked ET via Expedia, but seem to remember it being this way. Usually I try to book direct with them when possible to avoid this issue (though understandably that's not possible on an award booking). I had 2 UA award bookings on ET last year, no issues with them at all but had to call for seat assignments.
