Just a quick update. I have managed to track down the other PNR used by JL although it was meant for NRT - SYD. With this PNR, I was able to login to the MMB on JL's Japanese site and view/change the NRT - SYD leg. For some reason, it also allowed me to view the BA codeshare for LHR - HND but without the options to view/change seats.

On the other hand, using my original PNR on CheckMyTrip allowed me to view the seats for all legs (including the available Economy seats from row 24 onwards on JL flights). To this end, I did a dummy booking on JL's site for a full Y ticket and noticed that the available seat options were the same.

All in all, I stuck to my original aisle seat selections as I did not want to sit in a middle or window seat at the front rows of Economy.

p/s: Does JL hand out FastTrack card to OWE in Y by any chance? I have only used QF/CX to LHR in the past. Thanks.
