I should clarify that the upper deck is business class, but CI sells that as economy class in regional flights.

CI has 2 744s with 70C/319Y layout. The rest of 7 744s have 12F/49C/Y319 or 314 layout. If you saw 12 seats at nose section, those are the original First Class. If you saw 18 seats at nose section, those are business class seat.
