experience at YYZ

Dec. 2014 I was transferring through YYZ. There was a huge storm and my next flight was cancelled. There had been a chance I caught another flight before it was too late; however the wait was ridiculously long and agonizing. I waited in line for almost 3 hours, and I thought I was going to get assigned new flight and get the "hotel voucher" when I finally came around the corner; I saw easily another 1.5 - 2 hour wait before I got to the ticketing counter through all the zig-zag lines, and there was all but 2 AC employees working at the counter. It was 1am by then and I was physically not able to stand in line any more. So I walked up to the supervisor and asked that if I go to a hotel myself would I be reimbursed. The answer was yes. Off I went, stayed at the Hilton right next to the airport. Long story short, when I submitted my claim I got the "maximum of $100 for hotel stay" reply. My personal experience.

I was ridiculed by the reply. That was my worst and only experience caught in an AC chaos. That being said, I would not be interested in suing AC.
