Interesting. So I guess theoretically if you rear-ended someone and caused say $5K in damage to the other person's vehicle in one of those seven states then you could make a claim against this policy. I wonder how that would work in practice though. Can you imagine standing at the rental counter asking the Hertz rep who their insurance carrier is and what the policy number is?
