As I mentioned, my nearest enrollment center is about 160 miles. And above that add the uncertainity due to snow and winter, it is turning out to be a challenge to figure out a day without taking leave from work...
You can see in the schedule for your GE location whether it has weekend appointments. Otherwise, consider scheduling extra time into a connection the next time you fly through a station with a GE center.
If your international travel is work-related, would your employer expect you to take time off for processing?
