I should have been stopping there last night.
I had booked a non smoking exec suite. But prior to my flight yesterday the hotel had changed it to a smoking suite.

I did not accept the smoking suite, and the hotel basically said I had to accept it as smoking / non smoking is not guaranteed, and its up to the hotel to accommodate whichever they have!!

So 10PM i ended up having to get a taxi to the Intercontinental Festival city. The hotel would not even arrange a taxi for me or call IHG to sort out another hotel.

Absolutely disgusting treatment. I have emailed IHG about this to ask if its correct if i book a non smoking room a hotel does not have to honor it??

Intercontinetal Festival city was full today, so now at crowne Plaza Diera for one day
